How to Include CSULB in Your Estate Plans

THANK YOU for including a gift to California State University, Long Beach in your estate plan. Your deferred gift secures the future for generations of students and faculty and assures that we can continue to provide an affordable education to the next generation.

Designations to California State University, Long Beach may be made through the campus auxiliary foundation that can accept philanthropic gifts. We suggest that you use the following language in your will, trust, insurance policies or retirement accounts:

To the CSULB 49er Foundation (Federal Tax ID # 45-2163910),
to be used according to my letter of instruction on file with the University.

Developing a letter of instruction will allow you to redirect all or a portion of your gift to various purposes at the University without having to change your documents.

Informing us about your gift today – even if you wish to remain anonymous – assures that your gift is administered according to your wishes when it arrives many years from now. Just return the form, “My Estate Includes CSULB!” Please be sure to indicate on the form whether you want recognition. We will keep your gift highly confidential at your request.
